Swearing-in Ceremony for Cynthia Chestnut

Join the Gainesville City Commission on the steps of City Hall as the oath of office is administered to Cynthia Chestnut. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m.. The Honorable Gloria Walker, of the Eighth Judicial Circuit, will administer the oath of office to Commissioner-elect Cynthia Chestnut. The event is open to the public but neighbors are encouraged to view the livestream on the city’s Facebook page, followed by the regularly scheduled meeting of the city commission. To help ensure public health and safety, neighbors are asked to practice social distancing at the event. Please note, this event is outdoors, so be sure to dress accordingly.
