Black History Month Perspectives

The Department of Chemistry celebrates Black History Month by highlighting the contributions of our outstanding Black students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This month offers us the opportunity to reflect on where we are in our broadening accessibility efforts as a department, university, and scientific community. Black History Month is a time to to both honor those Black scientists and role models that paved the way for today’s individuals and as a time to examine how we can bring anti-racism to our communities.
